Community Relations."Do not separate yourself from the community." (Pirke Avot 2:5)

Our Position
Community relations has been at the heart of the work of the Nashville Jewish Social Justice Roundtable since its inception. At this critical time, we need to continue to leverage the networks and relationships we have developed. The Jewish community needs to continue to reach out, to engage, to convene, and to educate the broader community and, yes, to defend itself as necessary. Along with the Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Federation, NJSJR is committed to promoting the values and goals of our Jewish community by engaging with all Nashvillians in dialogue and in coalitions that support common goals. We cannot afford to isolate ourselves and expect others to have our backs.
